Ch 3: Always focus your attention on good things and say no to everything else.


There are words of a pessimist - half the glass is empty. The words of an optimist are - the glass is half full. 

You can even go above optimism if you just focus on water and think that this much water will quench your thirst. 

Simply put, focus on what you have. Don't think about what you don't have. If you are upset because you are not getting a promotion, then be happy thinking that at least you have a job. Concentrate on what you have and are thankful for. By doing this you can be happy. 

Apart from this, focus on the things that bother you. If you have seen a car accident in the news and it is bothering you that you may not have an accident tomorrow, then turn off the TV and go for a walk somewhere. If you ignore the noise around you, you will be able to hear your inner voice. 

This will give you peace and you will be able to understand the people around you better. If you want to find peace, then you have to keep a little eye on everyone around you. You will see that you are able to understand those people better and feel their discomfort or loneliness.

Ch 4: You can increase your ability to say yes by saying no. 


Till now we have seen how we can get happiness by saying no to the small things in our life. In this lesson, we will see how we can increase our power to say yes. 

The power of yes is made up of three things: 

- The ability to pay attention to the things for which you are thankful.
- Understanding the feelings and opinions of others.
- To divert attention from those things that hurt us.

 You can increase your ability to say yes by being thankful for everything. For this, you do this work. First, make a list of the things that bother you. In this, you can write all the things that you want but are not able to achieve or write those things that annoy you.

Now make a list of the things that you have and are thankful for. Every day thinks of 10 things that you have that make you happy. By doing this, you will be able to focus your attention on the good things and say no to the things that bother you. To increase your power of saying yes, pay attention to the needs of your body inside and outside. 

If you are feeling lazy, then go for a walk. If you are confused then listen to the song. If you are under stress then meditate and if you do not understand what to do then you read books.
In this way, taking care of the needs of your body, you can say no to bad things and say yes to good things and bring it into your life and give it a new look.
