chapter no 1:
What happened while working as an eminent and powerful lawyer that awakened Julian Mantle's inner consciousness?
This story is about a lawyer named Julian Mantle who had everything given by God. After graduating from Harvard Law School, London's most famous university, he became a well-known trial lawyer of the American Court. Earning 7 points, a luxurious house, and a Ferrari standing gracefully outside a red-colored house, he had everything a human could dream of. But all these were above things, he was struggling. With his time as his schedule was very busy. Every day he would have to argue for a new and urgent case. And because of all this, the work pressure on him increased so much that one day he suddenly fainted due to a heart attack in the courtroom itself. After this incident, he never fought any case again.
His acquaintances said that he left everything and went to India in search of peace and contentment, and this was what actually happened. Before leaving, Julian also sold his bungalow and his Ferrari. And three years later, when he suddenly came to one of his colleagues, he was surprised to see her. He was perfectly healthy and fit, his face was shining brightly and he had a smile like that of Gautam Buddha. It happened that during his visit to India, Mantle walked for miles, he was the first to meet yogis in his journey, he was surprised to see how these yogis have overcome the stages of age. During this time he heard about the sadhus living in Siwana of Kashmir and for this reason, he continued his search and reached the mountain ranges of the Himalayas where he met the sadhus living there, in whose presence he attained true awareness. Meet the inner soul.
chapter no 2:
From this mystical story, you will learn about the seven principles of the Sivana system.
In the Himalayas mountains, he found a group of sadhus who were known as 'Sadhus of Siwana'. One of them, Yogi Raman, shared his knowledge with him. They discussed the true meaning of life that Mantle learned about how you can feel alive, creative and content in your life. Those sages, before telling the true secrets of life to the mantle, put a condition that he would go back to where he came from and spread the knowledge gained from them to the people and would work for the welfare of the people. So he went back so that he could tell everyone about the Sivana system that brought a change in life. The sages told Mantle about the seven qualities of the Sivana system, and they explained these qualities to him through a mystical story. The story begins with a beautiful, serene, and lush green garden, where many flowers are in bloom and the atmosphere is very pleasant. There was a red-colored lighthouse in the middle of this garden, everything was so quiet that only then, disturbing the peace, a sumo wrestler walks out of the lighthouse. 9 feet tall and weighing 900 pounds, the wrestler had nothing to cover his body with just a pink wire cable with which he had covered his private parts.
While roaming in the garden, he collided with a golden clock, he was surprised to see it and picked it up. As soon as he wore it, he fainted and fell to the ground. When he awoke, he had new energy, perhaps we can thank those yellow fragrant roses blooming around him which filled him with new enthusiasm and energy. He stood up fuming and looked around in amazement. Then his eyes fell on a path studded with diamonds and he walked on it. That path led him to never-ending happiness and contentment.
Many people would find this story very strange to hear. But each element of this story exposes the principles and aspects of the Sivana system. In the lessons that follow, we will look at the relationship between these principles and this story.
chapter no 3:
To attain true satisfaction, it is very important to control your mind.
Hu The beautiful garden which was in the story of Yogi Raman reflects our mind, many people make this beautiful garden dirty i.e. fill it with fear and negative thoughts. Therefore the first principle of the Sivana system is to control your mind. You should make your determination stand like a guard at the gate of this garden-like mind so that it only allows positive and good thoughts to enter the mind and keep out the harmful thoughts. Our thoughts determine the shape of our life. If you want happiness and peace in your life, then fill your mind with enthusiastic and calm thoughts, because whatever you think, the palace around you will also become so. So if you want to learn the art of controlling your thoughts, then first of all you should come to focus your attention. For this, the sadhus of Siwana have adopted a special method, Yogi Raman also taught the same method to Mantle. He named this technique The Heart of Rose. All you need is a calm environment and a rose to try this technique. Now all you have to do is try to focus your attention in the middle of that rose, think about the beauty of that flower like their color, its fragrance, its texture. Initially, you will have some difficulties in this and your attention will wander here and there, but once you have mastered it, then you will be able to control your thoughts and thinking easily. Just then it will be in your hands that what kind of thoughts you give place in your mind and which do not.
chapter no 4:
To live a contented and happy life, it is necessary that you know the purpose of your life because it will show you the right path to live.
The second quality of the Sivana system is the purpose, and the lighthouse of the story of Yogi Raman was nothing but a purpose that served as a guide in that garden.
Similarly, it is very important to have a purpose in our life that should guide us on the path of our life. The sages who live in the forests of Siwan know the true purpose of their life, so they never waste their time because they have to fulfill a particular goal given by God in this life. These sadhus have named this purpose of life as the Sanskrit word Dharma. Since time immemorial, this belief has been going on that whoever is born on this earth comes to fulfill some work and that is his religion, so the saints say that by respecting his religion, fulfill it. True happiness and peace of life can be attained only by following the path of doing. To understand the purpose of your life, it is necessary that you first decide your goals, because unless your eyes are not on the target, you cannot hit the right target. So let's see this five-step method made by the sadhus of Siwana to understand the purpose of life. The very first step is to make a picture in your mind of the results of the objectives set by you, as if your goal is to lose weight, then you can imagine your even more slim and perfect fit form in your mind. This picture will give you inspiration to keep going on your weight loss mission. The second step is to put pressure on yourself to achieve your goal, but remember to create this pressure in a positive way. Under pressure, a person is often seen doing things that he has not even thought of. To put pressure on yourself, keep thinking about your plan and tell others about it too. After that the third step is to set a deadline to achieve your goal and keep that deadline in your mind and do all your work accordingly. Yogi Raman has named the fourth step as the 'Magic Rule of 21', according to which if a person does any work continuously for 21 days, then he becomes one of his habits. And the fifth and last step is that you continue to enjoy this process to achieve your goal, do not consider it a burden.
chapter no 5:
Walking on the path of continuous self-improvement is the key to a happy life.
Do you remember that sumo wrestler from Yogi Raman's story, he also shows the quality of the Sivana system, that quality is kaizen? Kaizen is a Japanese word that means continuous and never-ending improvement. In this quality, the sages have shown the way to refine their talents. To teach this quality, he has described a 10-step process which he named '10 Rituals of Radiant Life'. The first ritual is solitude, that is, at least some time out of your entire routine should be such when you sit alone in a quiet environment and think about the possibilities and talents within you. The second ritual is physical development according to which you have to take care of your body because a healthy mind and thinking resides in a healthy body.
The seventh ritual is that according to the sages of listening to music, you should listen to as much pleasant and calm music as possible because it helps you to keep your mood good. The eighth ritual is that of words, according to which you have to prepare a mantra for yourself by adding words that will continue to inspire you by becoming your source of inspiration. The ninth ritual is that of favorable character, that is, you have to mold your character and mind in such a way that you continue to follow it. And the last ritual is that of simplicity, that is, you have to spend your life in simplicity and focus your attention on your goal and good deeds. So just remember that sumo wrestler, keep following this principle of kaizen.
chapter no 6:
Always lead a disciplined life and use your time wisely.
Yogi Raman further says that there was another special thing of the sumo wrestler in that story, which we should note was that he had no clothes on his body, just a pink wire covering his private parts in it. That pink wire in that story shows his discipline. All the sages advised Mantle to lead a life full of discipline and said that only through discipline we can achieve the purpose of our life. But keeping discipline in life is not so easy, for this, Yogi Raman told Mantle a remedy that he should observe a fast of silence once a week, by doing this repeatedly, a person learns to control his mind and his mind and Starts thinking in a more disciplined way. As the story progresses, the sumo wrestler finds a golden watch, which represents the fifth quality of the Sivana system, which is respect for time. Although the sages of Siwana lived in dense forests away from society, still they valued their time very much and used to do all their work according to the time. He believed that controlling time means controlling your life. He used to consider all the hands of the clock as an indicator that one day everyone has to die, so he believed that every person should live his life to the fullest. It is important to use your time properly and use it wisely. Therefore, whenever you go to sleep at night, then give 15 minutes for the planning of the next day and take out one hour at a time and calculate the work of the whole week in advance.
Always be a little cruel with your time and do not waste it at all, the second important thing is that you should not be able to do it so that you cannot do it for everything that you do not want to do. Remember that you live your every day as if it is the last day of your life, and whenever you have to do some work, ask yourself if you want to spend the last day of your life doing this work. If you do this then you yourself will have the courage to say no.
chapter no 7:
Help others with selflessness and always live in today, this is the formula to live a happy life.
Just as Mantle fainted under the pressure of his work in his courtroom, in the same way, the sumo wrestler in Yogi Raman's story also fainted, but when he woke up, he was filled with new energy, due to the yellow roses blooming there. There was fragrance. So after all, what do these yellow roses represent? There is a saying in China that the fragrance of rose stays for a long time in the hands who present it to someone. This means that these yellow fragrant roses represent the sixth quality of the Sivana system, which is selfless service. Sadhus used to say that we should have a feeling of kindness and harmony towards others because by helping someone, our life also gets satisfaction. Wake up every morning and think for some time about what good you can give to this world and what you can do to make someone else's life better. You do not need to do much because sometimes small things do a lot, like sometimes praise someone just to make them happy, or help a friend in trouble and with your family. Always be kind and make them believe that you are there for them. Just do all this and see how your life gets filled with happiness. In that story, after waking up to the scent of roses, the wrestler finds a path studded with diamonds that leads him to never-ending bliss and happiness. This path tells about the last quality of Sivana system and that quality is to live in today. The sages of Siwan believed that the real happiness of life is not in reaching the destination, but life itself is a journey. In the way of life like this journey, many diamonds i.e. small happiness are found, to test these diamonds you have to learn to express gratitude daily. Always be grateful to your family, parents and that God, then happiness will never be less in your life. So live all the time thinking that what it is today, it is now and therefore live every moment from the heart and become a contented person.
Taking all this knowledge, Mantle returned to his country and shared his story and his knowledge with his friends and relatives. Even today, by spreading the light of knowledge among the people, he is fulfilling his promise made to the sadhus.
let's repeat important points:
it is possible for each of us to lead a life full of happiness and contentment, all that is needed is just to follow the seven principles formulated by the sages of Sivana. By applying these principles in our life, we can avoid negative thinking and can focus all our attention on the things for which we are born. If you want to fill your mind with positive thoughts, then practice this art of reverse thinking. The first quality of the Sivana system was to control your mind and allow only good thoughts to enter there, so to be successful in this task, the sages there told about the art of 'thinking upside down, according to which whenever your mind If there is any negative thing in me, then you should replace it with something positive on the contrary. For example, if you have any negative thoughts about your complexion, then start praising yourself and think about the good aspects of your appearance.
